Rotronic was founded in 1965. It is privately owned, and is managed by the Schroff family. The company is positioned as an internationally aligned trading and manufacturing company, and offers the most varied solutions for dealers and industrial customers. Its lines of business include products for measuring humidity, temperature, CO2 and differential pressure, solutions in the areas of 19" equipment and uninterrupted power supply for safety systems, and all types of measuring devices.

The group realises about 60% of its turnover abroad. In humidity and temperature measurement, the company is one of the strongest players worldwide. The 8 subsidiaries are located in the main global markets, such as the USA, Canada, China, Singapore, the UK, France, Italy and Germany. The newest branch office was opened in Canada in 2015.

Humidity, Temperature and CO2 Measurement

ROTRONIC offers a comprehensive line of reliable humidity probes, humidity indicators and meters, humidity data loggers and fixed install humidity transmitters to precisely measure relative humidity, dew point, water activity, temperature and other psychrometric parameters. Water activity instruments give accurate results within a few minutes and are primarily used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. We also offer a fast equilibrium humidity temperature generator – calibrator as well as humidity sensors and custom designed modules for OEM customers.

Applications range from commercial HVAC and building management systems, to weather stations, test and research laboratories, industrial process measurement / control, and product quality control.
